SAG Pioneers NFC Tags for Your Advanced Use Case
In the path of digital transformation, besides RFID, NFC technology is picking up pace. Many businesses are seeking ways to stay relevant by using NFC transponders for better management and business intelligence. However, we often see inquiries coming with challenges such as small tagging space, extreme temperature or metal interference standing in the way to hinder the success of a use case. Understanding these pain points, SAG has an array of NFC tags and stickers to unleash the full potential of your application.
SAG Enables Every RFID Use Case in Healthcare
RFID has become the facilitator to transform the process and management job in healthcare into a smart way. When consumables, retained surgical items, medical devices or pharmaceuticals are tagged or embedded with RFID transponder, it provides process visibility and data transparency to reduce workload of staff, increase data accuracy and enhance patient safety. However, some medical devices are more challenging to tag with issues and pain points that need to be considered. Our mission-ready RFID tagging solution brings you powerful tagging advantages to accelerate your healthcare digitalization with features as below: 1. Maximize performance for limited space 2. Withstand extreme temperature 3. Survive in sterilization process 4. Optimize reading for application-specific scenario
SAG works with TomKat for a waste-free future with NFC technology in sustainable packaging
SAG supports every effort for a waste-free future in line with our view of environmental sustainability. Polystyrene has taken its toll and eliminating waste and pollution calls for businesses to work together. Seeing the fishing industry has also sacrificed our planet for its polystyrene packaging, TomKat, an Australia-based tech company, believes there must be a transition to circulate and reuse these plastic containers in seafood logistics.
Meanwhile, monitoring temperature change during the transportation is of major concern for food safety. Inspired by TomKat, SAG is capable of developing a battery-less NFC temperature sensor tag to complete the whole solution. All efforts have paid off after trial and error and we have a good story to tell in a case study conducted and published by RFID & Wireless IoT.
SAG: RFID Competence for Future Connectivity
RFID expert SAG has been manufacturing a wide range of RFID products for 20 years: This includes labels and inlays, tags, keyfobs, sensor tags, cards and customized solutions. The focus is especially on RFID applications in industry, healthcare and the automotive sector. In the future, production capacity will be increased even further: the construction of the new main site is scheduled for completion as early as December 2022. At the same time, SAG is focusing on a new marketing strategy, including a new website. Jasmine Shih, Marketing Director at SAG, explains the background to the new strategy in an interview.
SAG Implements Successful Rebranding with New Web Presence
Shih: Over 90 percent of SAG’s customers are international, and the customer base is growing year by year. We expect further growth in the future. This requires a suitable web presence that appeals to partners and new customers worldwide and effectively communicates SAG’s core competencies.
RFID Enables Smart Industrial Applications
Since the introduction of Industry 4.0, many factors have driven the revolution from jump to leap during these years. Applications in different domains become more tangible when different technologies are brought together. RFID provides higher visibility, eliminates manufacturing errors, and enables asset management. Simply put, there is no denying RFID plays a vital role and provides important values such as security, data collection, and communication within this scope.
