SAG Pioneers NFC Tags for Your Advanced Use Case

In the path of digital transformation, besides RFID, NFC technology is picking up pace. Many businesses are seeking ways to stay relevant by using NFC transponders for better management and business intelligence. However, we often see inquiries coming with challenges such as small tagging space, extreme temperature or metal interference standing in the way to hinder the success of a use case. Understanding these pain points, SAG has an array of NFC tags and stickers to unleash the full potential of your application.

SAG Enables Every RFID Use Case in Healthcare

SAG Enables Every RFID Use Case in Healthcare

RFID has become the facilitator to transform the process and management job in healthcare into a smart way. When consumables, retained surgical items, medical devices or pharmaceuticals are tagged or embedded with RFID transponder, it provides process visibility and data transparency to reduce workload of staff, increase data accuracy and enhance patient safety. However, some medical devices are more challenging to tag with issues and pain points that need to be considered. Our mission-ready RFID tagging solution brings you powerful tagging advantages to accelerate your healthcare digitalization with features as below: 1. Maximize performance for limited space 2. Withstand extreme temperature 3. Survive in sterilization process 4. Optimize reading for application-specific scenario

Fasten NFC-enabled Cable Tie to Identify

Fasten NFC-enabled Cable Tie to Identify

SAG Cable Tie Tag is now available in black and yellow with NXP NTAG 213, ICode SLIX and STMicroelectronics ST25TV02K NFC-compliant chips. In order to manage the inventory, record maintenance and repair, or identify equipment and its location, it can be fitted with an RFID cable tie. In particular, for a loose item, cylinder, or pipe with a rounded surface, it gives difficulties to mount a hard tag or put a smart label as what we usually do in a flat surface tagging use case. Meanwhile, the metal surface might bring interference to affect the RF performance. To deal with these, SAG creates cable tie tags available with NFC technology to fasten loose items while providing an ID number to facilitate the reading with NFC-enabled phones. This zip tie type RFID tag can be easily applied to items. Meanwhile, this one-time-use cable tie cannot be removed without leaving a mark, which provides a tamper proof function to enhance its security level.
